Acrylic Aquarium Turn-Key Systems

Reefscape designs and delivers complete acrylic aquarium turn-key systems for resorts, hotels, restaurants, private residences and boutique attractions. Every system begins with a single question: what experience do we want to create? The answer drives every decision — from the shape and scale of the tank to the species selected, the lighting, the rockwork and the viewing angles. The result is an aquatic environment that defines a space, not merely occupies it.

Tested and Proven Before It Ships

Every Reefscape acrylic system is built, filled with water and run in our own facility before it ships. Life support is verified, leak integrity confirmed, optical quality checked. Only when the system has proven itself do we drain it, crate it and containerise it for shipping. When it arrives on site, we already know it works. Most suppliers ship and hope. We ship and know.

Two Ways to Build — Knowing the Difference Matters

There are two fundamentally different approaches to aquarium construction. The first — used for large public aquariums, zoos and major attractions — is a steel-framed composite tank with acrylic viewing windows bonded into it. The structure is substantial, built for scale, and designed to house large marine collections for decades. It is the right product for that application, and there are excellent specialists in that field.

The second is an all-acrylic system — the entire tank is acrylic, the tank itself is the viewing surface, and the complete unit is built off-site, tested, shipped and installed. For resorts, hotels, restaurants, private residences and boutique attractions where the goal is an extraordinary aquatic experience delivered with minimum disruption and maximum visual impact, this is the right product.

Reefscape builds both. We will tell you honestly which one suits your project.

The Viewing Experience — Where Acrylic Changes Everything

The defining advantage of an all-acrylic system over composite construction is the viewing experience it creates. A steel-framed composite tank is fundamentally a single viewing face — guests look through one acrylic window into an enclosed structure. An all-acrylic tank can be viewed from two, three or four sides simultaneously — guests move around it, experience it from different angles, look down into it from above. The tank becomes the centrepiece of a space rather than a feature built into a wall.

Combined with the freedom to take virtually any form — cylindrical, curved, half-sphere, floor-to-ceiling — an all-acrylic system places guests inside the experience rather than simply in front of it. It creates an aquatic environment that composite construction at this scale simply cannot replicate.

Why Acrylic at This Scale

Multi-sided viewing. An all-acrylic tank can be experienced from two, three or four sides simultaneously. A composite tank offers one viewing face. For a resort lobby, restaurant or private residence, that difference defines the entire guest experience.

The tank is the viewing surface. No frame, no bond lines, no steel visible. Just water and life, uninterrupted from every angle.

Ships as a single proven unit. Smaller systems ship completely bonded, filled and tested. Larger systems are bonded on site by our own team — allowing final life support integration and rockwork fitting before the tank is sealed. Either way, your team never touches the aquarium construction.

Any shape. Bubbles, cylinders, half spheres, convex curves. The form follows the experience, not the other way around.

Optically superior. No colour distortion, no visibility reduction even at the thicknesses required for water pressure. Greater clarity than low-iron Starfire glass at any panel thickness.

Built to last. A properly maintained acrylic aquarium outlasts any silicone-sealed glass tank and holds its clarity for decades.

Workable on site. Acrylic can be modified, drilled and adapted with standard tools. Field adjustments don’t become crises.
